What can you bring to a gummy project?
Bring a product concept or an existing specification. NutraGuild coordinates ODM development and OEM production discussions with manufacturing partner. The partner brochure received September 5, 2026 shows gummy shapes and product references on pages 6 and 9. These supplier examples support an initial discussion; availability of your ingredient combination, base, shape and packaging must be assessed for the actual project.
Start with the serving, then the piece
Write the ingredient amount per serving and the proposed pieces per serving separately. Divide the target serving amount by the piece count to define the amount to assess per gummy. For arithmetic only, a 600 mg serving across two pieces means 300 mg per piece. This is not a recommended dose or a claim that the formula is feasible. Confirm how the proposed ingredient load fits the agreed piece weight, base and sensory brief.
Resolve the base, flavor and texture together
- State a pectin or gelatin preference and any animal-source exclusions; availability remains subject to technical review.
- Specify the intended sugar profile and sweetener exclusions. A sugar-free or vegan concept needs review of the full formula and proposed label.
- Describe flavor, sweetness, firmness, coating and piece shape, identifying which choices may change after sampling.
- Ask the manufacturing team which ingredient, processing and packaging compatibility questions remain before approving a sample plan.
What does a 30,000-gummy MOQ mean?
The partner baseline recorded September 15, 2026 is 30,000 individual gummies. At 60 gummies per bottle, that is 500 bottles before agreed allowances; at two gummies per serving, each bottle represents 30 servings. This calculation does not confirm a finished-pack order quantity or a serving recommendation. Ask for the formula/flavor minimum, packaging component minimum and expected saleable quantity separately. Multiple flavors or label designs may require separate commitments.
Use a sample comparison you can repeat
- Record the formula revision, sample code, piece weight and the purpose of each sample.
- Compare flavor, texture, appearance and sticking or pack-handling observations under the same recorded conditions.
- Agree which sample is representative of the proposed production formula and what still differs.
- Request a separate testing and stability plan for the final formula and pack. Sensory acceptance does not prove ingredient content, shelf life or batch conformity.
Match the gummy to its bottle or pouch
State the count per pack, container and closure preference, seal, label version and transport/storage conditions to assess. Ask whether the proposed piece dimensions and coating suit the pack and what protection needs evaluation. The partner brochure shows packaging examples on page 12; that is not a compatibility result for your gummy. Shelf life needs support for the selected formula and packaging.
Get a quotation tied to your version
Include the US market, intended users, serving concept, pack count, number of flavors and expected order size. Request separate sample charges, production price, packaging costs, testing scope and freight terms. Sample and production lead times remain to be confirmed in writing. NutraGuild is the coordinating business, not the factory owner; confirm the actual manufacturing site and responsibilities in the project agreement.
